Formula One will have a new power

Audi’s arrangements to enter Formula One out of 2026 are getting a move on and a model power unit will run on the test bench before the year’s end, the German maker said on Tuesday.

The Volkswagen-claimed brand declared last October that it was taking a stake in the Sauber Group, whose Swiss-based group are contending this season as Alfa Romeo with Ferrari engines.

Formula One will have another power unit from 2026, with the emphasis on supportability and a more expense proficient future, when Sauber will turn into the plant Audi group.

Talking at show in Shanghai, Audi board part Oliver Hoffmann said the Equation One venture had “truly required off lately.”
