In a stunning T10 League showdown, former Pakistan pace sensation Mohammad Amir delivered a vintage performance, claiming four wickets for just seven runs against Chennai Braves. This incredible spell proved decisive as it limited Chennai to 75 for 9, setting the stage for New York Strikers’ five-wicket triumph in the 23rd match at the Zayed Cricket Stadium.

Despite a shaky start, with the Strikers losing three wickets for 30 runs, Asif Ali’s unbeaten 23 ensured their victory with nine balls to spare. Sam Cook and Junaid Siddique’s efforts with two wickets each for Chennai went unrewarded.

Opting to bowl after winning the toss, the Strikers disrupted Chennai’s plans, capitalizing on Amir’s brilliance. The win propelled the Strikers to the top spot in the tournament standings with 10 points.

Amir’s vintage display showcased his bowling prowess, reminiscent of his prime, while Asif Ali’s heroics sealed the deal for the Strikers. The team’s resilient performance positions them as strong contenders in the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 League.

Stay tuned for more T10 League action as the New York Strikers continue their campaign at the Zayed Cricket Stadium.
