Micky Arthur declines to serve as Pakistan cricket coaching role PCB

Former Pakistan cricket team head coach Micky Arthur

Former Pakistan cricket team head coach Micky Arthur declined to become Pakistan cricket team head coach due to his current contract with England cricket club Darbyshire.
PCB was in contact with former coach and offered him to either his new coaching role in team Pakistan or part time consultant with PCB but it was not agreed by Micky Arthur.
As per PCB Statement regarding Micky Arthur role “The Pakistan Cricket Board today confirmed it has been in talks with former national team head coach Mickey Arthur with a view to appointing him as the head coach to guide the side through to the ACC Asia Cup, ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.”
Now PCB is looking for some other options for this role.
It’s pertinent to mention that Pakistan has won Champion Trophy under Micky Arthur period.
