Boxer Amir Khan banned for boxing after failed doping test

British Pakistani boxer Amir Khan has been banned for two years by UK Anti Doping Agency for using
prohibited substance following his last bout against Kell Brook last year in Middle East.

Khan 36, defeated his last bout before retirement by his countrymen Brook.
According to the prior reports Khan has received two years of ban in all type of sports after failed his doping test to used Ostarine substance that has been strictly ban for doping agency.
However, the news of Khan failed doping allegations erupted last day that has been a tough digestive news for boxing followers all around the glob.
Khan in his initial reaction after the news has been confirmed he said “

“I’ve never cheated, I’m a retired fighter. You can see by my performance vs Kell Brook. I lost. If I went in there and knocked Brook out it’s different. I’ve never cheated in my life.”

On the other hand, Kell Brook also shows discomfort and said about Khan failed doping test “

“He has to live with cheating and taking a beating like that for the rest of his life , his legacy  is tainted ”
Amir Khan admitted the violations of two prohibited substance but arguing that it’s not took them purposefully and explained
“It was not taken purposefully, and the amount that was found in my body was not gonna give me any benefit.”
Khan the former Olympic silver gold medalist argued that test has been  taken on January last year ahead of his last bout against Kell Brook.

Following the two years ban the UKAD chief executive Jane Rumble said, “ This case serves as a reminder that UKAD will diligently pursue the anti-doping rule violations in order to protect clean sports.”

Amir Khan fought 40 professional fights with 34 win and 6 loses during his career.
