Alcohol will not be allowed in FIFA football World Cup in Qatar

In a surprising bid to ban beer in eight of football stadium premises in Qatar beneath FIFA when it commanded.
It’s just happens with two days to go start of the big tournament.

However, Budweiser who had 65m four year sponsorship right to sale alcohol at the big show reportedly put a diplomatic face on the host nation.

Alcohol was set to be served “in select areas as fan zones and hospitality areas, including Sunday’s opening match in which host Qatar play against Ecuador. In fact, despite its sale being strictly controlled in the Muslim country.
On the other hand, ban alcohol by the host nation which resulted the immediate embarrassment for FIFA and and outstanding question has been echoes over the governing body credibility in its sponsor dealings.

“Following discussions between host country authorities and Fifa, a decision has been made to focus the sale of alcoholic beverages on the Fifa fan festival, other fan destinations and licensed venues, removing sales points of beer from Qatar’s Fifa World Cup 2022 stadium perimeters,” said a statement from world football’s governing body.

Gianni Infantino (FIFA President) : “If you can’t drink beer for three hours, I think you can survive. There are many countries that ban alcohol in stadiums, like France, but since Qatar is a Muslim country, people make it look like a problem.”

 

the host country and fifa body is agreed upon and assures that surrounding areas of stadiums will provide the respectful, enjoyable and pleasant environment to all of the fans.
